Hi Heather: Saw the episode. For some reason, those two words didn't bother me as the humorous context he used -- to me -- was more of a self-deprecating slam against himself proving himself a fool for saying such a thing. I guess I'm also comforted by the fact that his wife is African-American and I'm sure if he goes too far out of line with his white privilege, she would have something to say and do about it!
